1inch launches Trade Mode and speeds up swaps
1inch rolled out a major platform update that introduces Trade Mode and renames Pro Mode to Terminal with new features.
The release focuses on execution controls, granular order management, and substantially faster swap settlement across both single-chain and cross-chain operations.
Trade Mode
Trade Mode provides a dedicated interface for swaps and limit orders, offering users controls to set gas and slippage tolerances.
It also enables analysis of liquidity routes and provides a transaction history view for monitoring past fills and routing decisions.
Terminal replaces Pro Mode
Terminal, formerly Pro Mode, centralizes advanced trading tools with extended order history, execution options and an updated trading-pair selector.
The interface aims to support professional workflows without changing core on-chain settlement mechanisms or permissionless access and preserves direct wallet connectivity.
Execution speed improvements
Following the update, median swap execution time declined from 26 seconds to 14 seconds, improving user responsiveness.
A portion of swaps now complete in under 9 seconds, reducing wait times for numerous users.
Cross-chain swap paths were optimized as well, and many such transactions are reported to execute within seconds.
- Trade Mode: dedicated swaps and limit-order interface with gas, slippage controls, liquidity routing analysis, and trade history tracking.
- Terminal: Pro Mode renamed to Terminal, offering expanded order history, execution settings and an upgraded trading pair selection tool.
- Performance: median swap time fell from 26 seconds to 14 seconds, while some single-chain swaps finalize below 9 seconds.
- Cross-chain: routing optimizations reduced execution latency for multi-chain swaps, enabling many of them to settle in seconds.
1inch announced the update and made Trade Mode and Terminal available to users across supported interfaces and connectors.
