According to Multicoin Capital, the HYPE token could exceed $300 by 2028 based on the firm’s proprietary valuation work and market observations.

Fund position and accumulation

Multicoin Capital reports having monitored the HYPE project since its launch and taking a substantial position in early 2026, after which it continued accumulating the token.

The fund also states that HYPE now ranks among the largest holdings within its liquid fund, reflecting concentrated exposure to the token’s prospective upside.

Valuation outlook

Analysts at Multicoin presented a model projecting HYPE’s price could reach approximately $319 by 2028, based on the fund’s assumptions about adoption, token velocity and ecosystem growth.

The firm did not disclose all model inputs publicly, but characterized the valuation as forward-looking and dependent on several market adoption scenarios.

External recognition

Separately, Multicoin notes that HYPE appears in a list of the top fifteen prospective crypto projects compiled by Grayscale Investments, another large institutional crypto fund.
