Google Cloud adds OpenAI models to its platform

Google Cloud has started offering corporate customers access to OpenAI models GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-6 Luna in closed testing.

Selected companies can trial the models while Google Cloud provides security tools and unified billing for enterprise clients.

Access and deployment

Access is currently limited to a closed testing phase for a set of enterprise customers, allowing evaluation before broader availability is determined.

Businesses will be able to choose models based on specific tasks, deploy them via Google Cloud infrastructure and consolidate charges on a single invoice.

Security and data handling

Google Cloud offers its standard enterprise security features alongside the models, including identity management and administrative controls for corporate deployments.

According to the company, customer requests and responses will not be used to train the underlying base models, maintaining separation between enterprise usage and base-model training data.

Integration roadmap

Google plans to extend availability of these OpenAI models into broader products such as Gemini for Business and Google Antigravity at a later stage.

The phased approach aims to let enterprises validate performance and controls before the models are integrated into Google’s wider commercial offerings.
