Analysts at Arkham observed a sequence of Bitcoin transfers routed to addresses linked to the creator known as Satoshi Nakamoto.

According to Arkham, the funds arrived through the Revolut service, and the sender employed staged operations to test the routing before larger moves.

Transaction details

The bulk of the outflow consisted of three transactions of 0.0181 BTC and one transaction of 0.00369 BTC, the report states.

Arkham also recorded a single larger transfer of 0.033 BTC, which equated to approximately $2170 at the time of sending, and total inbound value near $5,000.

Sender identity and motive

Investigators could not attribute the transfers to an individual because the funds originated from a Revolut hot wallet that aggregates many customers’ operations.

As a result, the on‑chain trace ends at a shared address, preventing a definitive link to any real‑world identity, Arkham notes.

Implications

The addresses associated with Satoshi have remained largely inactive since the early years of the network; therefore, incoming funds typically do not trigger further on‑chain movement.

Given that activity, arrivals to those addresses are effectively recorded without subsequent spending, making such transfers cryptographically notable but operationally inert.
